Registration

When you visit for the first time please come to the information desk first; please also bring your passport or national ID, as well as the user application (Benutzungsantrag), you can fill it in ahead of time or at the Institute. By signing the application (Benutzungsantrag) you accept the regulations (Benutzungsordnung), and you will immediately receive your library card. With the library card you can order items, check your account in the online-catalogue, and check out your items at the self check out in reading room 1. 

Underaged students from the age of 16 will have to use a different application (Benutzungsantrag) with parental approval
