"Studien zur Zeitgeschichte"

This series nearly exclusively features manuscripts provided to the IfZ from elsewhere. Publications are required to pass an evaluation process consisting of several individual steps. Two monographs of less than 500 pages each are generally published each year. While research on National Socialism has been the main focus of the series, publications have also delved into a wide range of topics. The series is not indeed limited to presentations of 20^th-century German history, but has increasingly reflected on historical developments in other European countries as well. Petra Weber is responsible for the editorial supervision of manuscripts.
